Jonele McKay runs a salon in Southern Minnesota in the Zumbrota area. It is a new business and McKay wanted to build an all new unique brand from scratch. She needed help in doing so. She wanted something that help her brand and business stand out in the crowded salon market and fulfill her dreams as a stylist to be independent with her own shop in Minnesota.

Branding proved difficult, so McKay doubled her efforts and started a relationship with our agency to close the gap and begin to launch her business off the ground. This way, she could focus on that rather than other tasks associated with digital marketing.

What We Achieved
Augabout Consulting was able to achieve a great deal of success in helping launch the brand for Jonele McKay and her salon studio. We provided an all new website that is friendly across devices including laptops, smartphones, desktop computers and tablets. Many people are searching for businesses online and on their phones, so search engines, reviews and social media are key tools for salons like McKay’s. To help her get found on Google, Facebook and other indexes, we claimed her business on Google and created a custom Facebook page cover. On the print side, we created business cards. We also provided a menu for hair services and a gift card option.
